Pull an evidence pack for a stakeholder briefing
Supported live record pages expose Evidence Pack exports carrying the record's citations and source metadata. Wider topic-level packs for supporter emails, briefings, press releases and board papers are planned alongside topic onboarding.
Limits and honesty
Cite the Record doesn't lobby for you, pick winners, score members "good" or "bad" on your issue, or rank them. It shows what's recorded — critics alongside allies, because a balanced briefing names both. The narrative is yours to build from the evidence; counts are rows you total yourself. See the neutrality policy for the labels the platform forbids and what AI-derived content should avoid.
Coverage is honest, not exhaustive. When topic ledgers are onboarded, a ledger will list members with a record on file for the issue in the covered period — absence will mean no record yet, not that a member holds no position. Each ledger will show the period it covers and how current it is. Clipping is separate: the clip recorder works on any Parliament TV debate, whether or not it is indexed as a record here.
Campaigning and the regulated period. Monitoring and citing the public record is not regulated campaign activity. If your charity spends over £20,000 (£10,000 in Scotland and Northern Ireland) on regulated campaigning in the 12 months before a UK general election, Electoral Commission rules may apply — see the Electoral Commission's charity guidance.
